My Role
As part of a class project, a team of my classmates and I were tasked with designing a creative and impactful marketing campaign for a local experience park, Evermore. We developed engaging social media posts to promote the park and created a special event aimed at increasing attendance and offering an exciting new adventure for visitors. Our goal was to attract a broader audience while enhancing the park’s offerings. We then presented our marketing campaign to a mock board, outlining our objectives and the potential impact of our proposed event. This experience allowed me to collaborate on a real-world project, applying creative and strategic thinking to deliver a compelling marketing solution.

What I've learned
This project has been a valuable learning experience. It has been fascinating to explore qualitative data, discover various methods for collecting it, and understand how to use it to enhance a business. I have gained a deeper understanding of strategies like triangulation and developed more effective interview techniques that will be useful in the future.
Working with a newer company allowed my team and me to examine several aspects of the business, identifying areas for improvement and ways to increase efficiency. This project has not only helped me refine these skills but also given me the confidence to apply them in a professional setting. I now appreciate the significant role qualitative data plays in driving business growth and performance, and I am excited about the opportunity to help improve your business.
Experience Design Principles Used
Touchpoint Template
We mapped out every touchpoint in the customer journey to identify potential pain points and ensure a seamless experience. By evaluating the various elements customers would interact with, we were able to anticipate their needs and address any challenges they might face. This comprehensive approach allowed us to optimize each touchpoint, ensuring a positive and memorable experience throughout the event.
Brand Personality
We developed a brand personality that resonated with our target audience, aiming to create a figure that embodied the values and essence of our event. Our goal was to craft a personality that was both relatable and relevant, connecting with customers on a personal level and reflecting the experience we wanted to offer. This approach helped us build a stronger emotional connection with our audience, making the brand more engaging and memorable.
Storytelling
We integrated storytelling into our event to captivate and motivate our audience to participate. By crafting a unique narrative with a compelling storyline, including a protagonist, antagonist, and clear objectives, we created an engaging experience that kept customers excited to complete each activity and discover what awaited them after finishing their quest. Our immersive storytelling approach allowed participants to feel as though they were living the adventure, deepening their connection to the event and enhancing their overall experience.
